Lulu Evans, 97, died Tuesday, December 7, 2004, at the Indianola Good Samaritan Center. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 10 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. in the Fairport Cemetery, Fairport, Missouri.

Lulu Crystal Wolf, daughter of William and Eva Crabill Wolf, was born August 10, 1907, in DeKalb County, Missouri, near Fairport. She was a lifelong teacher. On May 8, 1929, Lulu married Clifford Evans, who preceded her in death.

Lulu is survived by two children, Karen Golly of Bondurant and Bob Evans of Indianola; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and a sister, Gwynetha Gunderson; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers or memorials the family asks that any such offerings be directed to one's own church.
