Memorial services for Lucia Lynn Griffith, 94, of Indianola, who passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 will be held 10 a.m., Friday, November 10 at Burkes Tubbs Funeral Home, 203 3rd Ave, Forreston, IL 61030, with Inurnment following in the White Oak Cemetery, Forreston. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Lucia was born on June 10, 1929 in Freeport, Stephenson County, Illinois. She graduated from Drake University, Des Moines, IA. She was a lifetime member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She retired from civil service from the Internal Revenue Service, Phoenix District Office. In addition, she was a commissioned Stephen's Minister and Hospice trained bereavement counselor.

Lucia is survived by her children, John Golden, Jennifer (Larry) Ewing; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Dave (Carol) De Graff, Denise Lane; many other nieces, nephews and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Golden, Paul Griffith, Paul Zurr; parents, Lewis and Flora De Graff; siblings, Lew (Brum) and Betty De Graff, Larry Lane.
