A Celebration of Life for Lowell Beltz, 76, who died Monday, August 22, 2011 at home will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 24 in the Fellowship Room of the First United Methodist Church in Indianola. A time of remembrance will be shared at 7:30 at the church. Cremation will follow services and burial of cremains will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Indianola at a later date. Lowell is survived by his wife Janet; daughter, Leigh Beltz of Indianola, step children, Eric Borchert of Lafayette, CO., Staci (Jim) Scheurenbrand of Indianola; nine grandchildren; and brother, Kenneth Wood of Carlsbad, CA. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Becky Spencer. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Indianola Fire and Rescue Department.
