Services for Louise Maxine Thompson, 95, who passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Taylor House in Des Moines, will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, August 4 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Louise was born on May 12, 1922 to John E. and Margaret Lepley. She grew up on the farm a mile and half south and east of Lacona, IA. Louise Maxine Lepley and Jack Thompson were married at Lacona Methodist Church in Lacona, IA, September 6, 1942. Louise and Jack had one child, Craig S. Thompson who was born February 4, 1952. After moving to Indianola she worked at the Warren County Recorder's office until she retired. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Indianola.

She is survived by her grandson, Joshua Thompson, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack; son, Craig; parents, John and Margaret Lepley; brothers, Johnnie and Virgil; and longtime friend Warren Stone.
