She is survived by her sons, Philip Paulsen of Racine, WI, Jerome (Brenda) Paulsen of Bluebonnet Meadows Houston, TX; daughters, Joan (Jay) Claerhout of Indianola and Pamela Paulsen of Bettendorf, IA; siblings, Frances Otterness, Gale Thayer and Beverly Smith; and grandchildren, Jameson, Garrett and Kirsten Claerhout, Rachel and Aislinn D'Auben, and Ethan and Hailey Paulsen.
