LLOYD W. MERRELL Services for Lloyd W. Merrell, 88, of Milo, Iowa, who passed away Monday, September 21, 2015 in Des Moines, will be held 10 a.m. Friday, September 25 at the Milo Christian Union Church with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Survivors include his children, John (Sopit) Merrell, Stanley Merrell, Karen (Harlan) Patterson, Dean (Rachel) Merrell and Donna Nolton; 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Esther; parents, Carl and Grace Merrell; sisters, Dorothy White, Frances Daniels and Alice Witt; and brother, Lawrence Merrell. Visitation at the Indianola United Methodist Church will be held Thursday, September 24, from 4 to 8 p.m., with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to Milo Christian Union Church or Alzheimer's Association.
