Services for Lloyd William Dales, 85, of Indianola, who passed away Monday, December 2, 2024 in Des Moines, will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 9, 2024 at the Indianola First Assembly of God Church with visitation prior to services from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.  A 2 p.m. Graveside service with full military rites will be held in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, Iowa.

Lloyd is survived by his children, Ronald (Vickie) Dales, Douglas (Jacquelyn) Dales, Laura Dales, Kimberly (James) Oliver; grandchildren, Joshua Dales, Allison (John) Frietag, Ben Dales, Dustin (Heather) Dales, Travis Downey, Anthony Tufarella, Kathleen Harris, Seth (Aliyah) Benge, Cooper Dales and Charmayne Ford; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Lyle (Mayrene) Dales; sister, Susan (Mark) Goslin and many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Dales; parents, Logan and Iola (Copeland) Dales; siblings, Jim Dales and Chuck Dales; and granddaughter, Sommor Dales.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Lloyd may be made to the American Legion Post # 165 in Indianola.
