Memorial services for Lila Jean Howe, 90, who died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at the Indianola Good Samaritan Center will be held, 11 a.m.,Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Overton Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. A private burial of cremains will be held in the Belmont Cemetery, Milo, IA. Jean was born October 10, 1921 to Edison and Villa Polson in Indianola, IA. She was a member of PEO and the First United Methodist Church in Indianola. She is survived by her nephews, Dr. Scott Howe of Kearney, NE, General Dave Howe of Langley, VA, George Howe of Des Moines, IA, Dennis Howe of Brighten MI, Kevin Howe of Des Moines, IA and Steve Stoner of Adel, IA; sister in law, Rita Howe of Kearney, NE and special friends, Gordon and June Blacksmith of Indianola, IA.
