Services for Leslie Alan Johnson, 57, who passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018, in Iowa City, will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola.  Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday prior to services.  The family will be present from 5 to 7 p.m. to greet friends.

Les was born May 27, 1961 in Des Moines, IA. the son of Doyle and Nadine (Sharon) Johnson.  He graduated from Norwalk High School and had farmed and drove a cement truck.  Les was united in marriage to Annette Kay Bradford on December 19, 1980 in Indianola.  Les enjoyed 4 wheel races, hunting and his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Annette; children, Joseph (Katie) Johnson, Jamie (Kelvin) Samson; grandchildren, Wyatt Johnson, Payten, Karsyn and Gunner Samson; mother, Sharon Johnson; siblings, Debbie (Chuck) Johnson and Brenda (Susan) Johnson.  He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Johnson and sister, Darlene Graham.
