Funeral services for LeRoy H. Mossberg, 89, who died Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at The Village Health Care Center in Indianola, will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 25 at the Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Indianola of which he was a member. Burial will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines.

LeRoy was born in Webster County, Iowa and had lived in Indianola since 1952. He served in the United States Air Force during WWII from 1942-1945 stationed in Alaska. He worked as a salesman for wholesale hardware companies in central Iowa retiring in 1983 from Wyeth. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and coffee club.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; sons, Douglas (Ann) Mossberg of Omaha, NE and Craig (Carol) Mossberg of Sandy, UT; daughters, Kris (Duane) Nielsen of Indianola and Julia (Tim) Messamer of Burlington; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 2 – 7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 24 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where family will be present to greet friends from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be given to his church.
