Leroy Howard Hobbs of Indianola, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025 at home.  No services are planned at this time.

Leroy was born the son of Leroy Howard Sr and Doris Mae Hobbs.  He was united in marriage to Doris McKuhan on December 4, 1954 in Des Moines, Iowa.  To this union two sons were born, LeRoy and Steve.

Leroy drove Bus for Regional Transportation District "RTD" in Colorado and Metropolitan Transportation Authority "MTA" in Des Moines until his retirement.

He is survived by his son Steve Hobbs; grandchildren, Jeff Hobbs and granddaughter, Stevi Hobbs; brothers, Bob Hobbs and Mark Bothwell.  He was preceded in death by his wife Doris; son, Leroy Hobbs Jr., parents; brother, Jack Hobbs and sister, Sharon Dunsmore.
