LEONARD FLOYD KOTZ Indianola Leonard Floyd Kotz, 75, of Indianola died peacefully in his home on Tuesday July 8, 2014. Leonard attended Clear Lake High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts from Drake University in Journalism. He spent the majority of his working career in the insurance industry. Leonard was a man of many names - Bill, Lenny, and Buzz, but the title he enjoyed the most was that of Grandpa. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Libby" Kotz of Indianola; daughter, Buffy (Bo) Gratton of Elkhorn, NE; son, Brad (Nancy) Kotz of Indianola; step-son, Michael Simpson of Des Moines; and step-daughter, Michelle (Jimmy) Reinier of Pleasant Hill. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dr. Phillip Colletier, his wonderful staff, and Mercy Hospice for their extraordinary care.
