Funeral service for Leon "Lee" T. Pamulak, 65,who passed away Friday, June 17, 2011 at home will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the Indianola Community Church. Lee is survived by his wife of 38 years, Martha; sons, Russ & Mike both of West Des Moines, sister Joyce Bruce of La Grange Park, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents Leo & Lottie Pamulak of La Grange Park, IL. Lee was born & raised in Chicago, IL. Graduated from Memphis State University and previously resided in West Palm Beach, FL, Naperville, IL and Urbandale, IA with Martha before settling & raising his family in Indianola. Lee spent countless hours volunteering as Chairman of Iowa AAU youth wrestling from 1988 to present organizing youth tournaments and championships for both Iowa & National AAU associations. Lee was also actively involved with Indianola Little League, Indianola Mat Tribe, and Indianola Booster Club for many years supporting both youth and high school athletics in Indianola. Lee previously attended Martensdale Community Church with his family. Lee loved spending time with his family, fishing, and volunteering his time and efforts for kids locally and state wide.
