Services for Larry Dean Turner, 76, of Indianola, who passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025 at home, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Overton Funeral Home with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Larry Graduated High School in 1967. He started off his career as a truck driver with Coke-Cola and retired with Yellow Freight on September 30th, 2008. Larry loved gardening, fishing, the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Cubs and his Chiefs. Most of all Larry loved Sprint Car Racing with his family and many friends. He truly loved his children and adored and loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Larry is survived by his children, Troy Turner, Julie Turner and Travis Turner; grandchildren, Carlee (Randy Jennings) Turner, Paige Turner, Logan Turner and Dylan Turner; great-grandchildren, Piper Jennings, Rylee Jennings and one on the way named Dean Jennings; and many favorite nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Turner Sr. and Georgia (Dill) Turner; brothers, Carl Junior Turner and Danny W. Turner; and sister Lois McPherson Enga.

Visitation will be held prior to services from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Memorials in memory of Larry may be given to Kiya Koda Humane Society.
