Larry Earl Moore, 84, of Prole, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025.  His wish was to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.

Larry was born on November 12, 1940 in Green Mountain, Iowa the son of Willis Earl and Vivian Margaret (Weling) Moore.  Larry was united in marriage to Laura "Queenie" Iverson-Hampe on May 1, 2002.

Larry worked in construction then at Des Moines Pittsburgh Steel and the Chicago Bridge and Iron where he retired.  He then started to work for the Martensdale St. Marys Community School District as a custodian.

He is survived by his wife, Queenie; daughters, Susie Wood and Teresa Iverson; son, Scott (Cherie) Hampe; grandchildren, Cri Franklin, Don Don Wood, Vickie Iverson, Kenny Iverson, Drake Iverson, Landon Iverson, Jade Hampe, Ava Hampe and Brooke Hampe; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Moore.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jim and sisters, Linda and Edna.

Memorials in memory of Larry can be given to a charity of your choice.
