Funeral services for Kriss G. Williamson, 49, of Osceola, who died of leukemia Monday, June 6, 2005, at the Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines, will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 9, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Interment will be in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery near Medora, Iowa.

Born in Des Moines, Kriss was a 1975 graduate of Interstate 35 High School and had recently completed a computer skills class in Des Moines. She had previously been employed as a punch press operator for Furnas Sieman division in Osceola for 27 years. She enjoyed painting and her pets.

Kriss is survived by her mother, Winifred Williamson of rural Medora; son, David Carney and his fiancé, Amber of Osceola; granddaughter, Layla of Osceola; triplet brothers, Kim and Kevin Williamson of rural Medora and brother, Tim (Linda) Williamson of Lostant, Illinois; sister, Marilyn (Bob) Morrison and nephew, Mike of rural New Virginia; and other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Memorials may be given to Taylor House Hospice or Leukemia Lymphoma Society of Iowa for leukemia research.
