Kinsie "Lloyd" Foust Carlisle Memorial services for Kinsie "Lloyd" Foust will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 8 at the St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Carlisle, IA with burial of cremains to be held at a later date in the Scotch Ridge Cemetery. Kinsie "Lloyd" Foust was born June 10, 1930 in rural Warren County near Evansville, Iowa to Kinsie Everett and Lela (Grove) Foust. He graduated from Indianola High School and had farmed his entire life. On February 14, 1952 he was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Brick. Lloyd was a farmer. He always had the straightest row, grew the best sweet corn and was the life of the party. To some he was known as a pool shark but was always very good hearted. He loved having his family around him and enjoyed hunting, fishing including hand fishing and was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Carlisle, Iowa. On Sunday afternoon, April 5, 2015, Lloyd passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 84 years, 9 months and 26 days. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughter, Kathi (Denny) Davis and children Missy (Jerry) Davis and Trent, Mike (Kylie) Davis, Kinsie and Addy, Jill (Marty) Berg, Dylan, Sydney and Carter; daughter, Kim (Dave) Whitney and children, Amy (Luke) Smith, Jake and Jozie Morgan and Jamie (Garrett) Justice and Nola Justice; son, Greg (Crystal) Foust; daughter, Carol (Bob) Elliott and children, Bobby (Diane) Elliott, Jessie, Joe and Matt (Kara) Elliott; son, Jeff (Marilyn Harris) Foust; daughter, Mary Jo (Tom) Williams and children, Tommy (Ashley) Williams and Dominique, Carson and Carolina Williams, Dan (Tara) Williams, Grace and Grant Williams, Jackie Williams, Annie (Andrew) Hockins and Riley Hockins, John Paul (Blake) Williams and Charlee Williams; and sister, Donna Ripperger. He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Katie Elliott. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 7 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where family will be present to greet friends. Memorials may be given to St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church or to Hospice of Central Iowa (HCI).
