Memorial services for Kevin Patrick Shannon, 56, who passed away Friday, August 4, 2017 at Westview Care Center in Indianola, will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 9 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with visitation to be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.  Burial of cremains will follow in the Indianola IOOF Cemetery.

Survivors include his siblings, Frank (Jeannette) Shannon, Sean (Brenda) Shannon and Kelly (Joe) Swift; five nieces and one great-niece as well as several cousins and other relatives.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Helen Shannon.

Memorials may be given in his name to Special Olympics.
