Kenton “Kent” Ruble, of Carlisle, IA, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Norwalk Nursing & Rehab in Norwalk. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, August 3, 2026 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will follow services in the Bethel Chapel Cemetery, Woodburn, IA.

Kent is survived by his wife, Jayne; son, Wade Ruble; siblings, Rhonda (John) Crouse, Kim Warner and Kirk Ruble; siblings-in-law, Loren (Marylinn) Olson, Joyce Olson; nieces and nephews, Meredyth Olson, Korynna Olson, Michaela (Tony) Saucedo, Victoria Ramirez, Josh (Rita) Crouse, Kristin Crouse, John (Vanessa) Crouse, Brook (Will) Downard, Aaron (Chris) Page; numerous great-nieces and nephews; 2 great-great nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Ruble and Louise Titchbourne.

Visitation will be held 4 to 7 p.m., Sunday, August 2 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends. Memorial contributions in memory of Kent may be given to the Pink Tractor Foundation or the Hartford Sportsman’s Club.
