Kenneth McLeod of Plant City, Florida and Indianola, Iowa, entered into eternal rest on March 19, 2012. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War, and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers. He enjoyed the outdoors, took great pride in his Trail Blazer, and loved his family. He is survived by his children Michelle (Tracy) McMurry of Seymour, Iowa, Melissa (Bill) McLeod of Plant City, Florida, Matthew Wayne (Sharon) McLeod, Houston, Texas, and James (Jolynn) McLeod of Des Moines, Iowa; grandchildren Ashley McMurry, Brandi McMurry, Stephen McLeod, Darren McLeod, Catelynn McCroskey, and J.R. McLeod; sisters Darlene (Jack) Cruchelow and Betty (Larry) Perry of Indianola, Iowa; and loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 29 at Overton Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 30 at 10:30 a.m. at Overton Funeral Home. Interment to follow at the I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
