KENNETH L. LAWR

Kenneth L. Lawr, 82, formerly of Indianola, passed away, Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Des Moines.  Private burial of cremains will be held in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

Kenneth had served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.  He worked as a plasterer for many years until his retirement.  He loved training horses and his dog.

He is survived by his children, Jim (Patty) Lawr, John (Beth) Lawr, Jerry (Jo) Lawr, Kathy Wood, Karen Lawr, Kristy Lawr and Karla (Bob) Martindale; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and long time companion Esther Davis.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Sydney and Sylvia Lawr and son, Jack Lawr.
