Kenneth (Kenny) Clyde Brewer, age 84 of Indianola, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at the Des Moines VA Medical Center.  The son of Clifton Sr. and Martha Wauneta (Byers) Brewer, he was born July 18, 1937 at home near Columbia, Iowa. Kenny graduated from Chariton High School in 1955. He served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1962, mostly in Europe as a wheeled vehicle mechanic. He was united in marriage February 23, 1966 to Catherine Joanne Jones of Chariton. To this union he was blessed with three children: Brian, Lori, and Eric.

Those left to honor his memory are his children: Brian (Brooke) of Bondurant, Lori of Beverly Hills, CA, and Eric (Laura) of Indianola; 5 grandchildren: Colby, Bailey, Alison, Benjamin and Jordan; and his brother Richard (Carolyn) of Albia, Iowa. Those that preceded him in death were his parents, and his brothers Cliff Jr, Keith, and infant brother Marvin.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 3 to 6 p.m., December 4, 2021 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola.  Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Columbia Cemetery, Columbia, IA.  In lieu of flowers, please keep the family in your thoughts.
