Kaye Lynn Marasco passed away peacefully on October 19, 2024, at her home in Des Moines, Iowa.

Kaye was born on August 21, 1955, in McCook, Nebraska, to Vaughn and Joan Stevens. She lived most of her life in central Iowa. Kaye was very compassionate to everyone she met, and worked as a registered nurse. She also had a big place in her heart for her pets. Kaye had her father's sense of humor, enjoyed spending time with family, and loved traveling to Colorado.

Kaye is survived by her sons, Chris Marasco, Chuck (Shannon) Marasco, and Ken (Clara) Lau; her brother, Jim (Stacy) Stevens; and her grandchildren, Mandi Gilliam, Blake (Melisa) Marasco, Joseph Marasco, Olivia Marasco, and Ken Lau IV. She is also survived by her great-granddaughter, Grace Marasco, and nieces, Sairah Clark, Rosella Lockwood, Elizabeth Sanchez, and Samantha Stevens. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vaughn and Joan Stevens; her sister, Jane Stevens; her niece, Molly Huss; and her son, Andy Marasco.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on October 29 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, Iowa. Visitation will be held prior to the services from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Kaye will be laid to rest at Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kiya Koda Humane Society in Indianola, Iowa.
