Karen Walek, 78, of Indianola, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021. She passed peacefully in her sleep in the farmhouse that she was born in, married in, and lived the rest of her life in. She was a teacher and an in-home health care nurse.

She is survived by her brother, Wendell Mott; her son, Lance (Lacy) Walek; and her granddaughter, Emma Walek. We will hold a private memorial at the Ackworth Cemetary, date and time to be announced.
