Funeral services for Karen Rose Royer, 68, who passed away at home Saturday, January 16, 2010 will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 20 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola.  Cremation will follow services.

Cherishing her life is her immediate family including her husband Arnie of 49 years; children, Annette (Steve) McLendon of Excelsior Springs, MO, Lea Ann (Ron) Hausman of Carroll, Jannifer (Larry) Guthmiller of Yankton, SD; mother, Rosella Sipe of Yale; sisters Donna DeWitte of Columbia, MD, Billie Calonkey of Woodward; brother, Mike Sipe of Columbia, MD; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her father, Ernie Sipe and an infant brother.

Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 19 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present from 5:30 – 8 p.m.  A Prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to family in loving memory of Karen.

Due to the ice storm, funeral services for Karen Royer have been changed to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Overton Funeral Home.
