Karen Kay Chandler, 77, who went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Carlisle Care Center, Carlisle, IA. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday,  November, 16, 2017 at Overton Funeral Home, Indianola, IA with a service starting at 7 p.m. Graveside services will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday, November 17, 2017 in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Van Meter, IA.

She is survived by her children, Howard Chandler, Leona (Daryl) Mace, Rebecca (Al) Minnis, and Nancy Chandler; sister, Linda (Bill) Turpin and many family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; parents, Gilbert and Yula (Rose) Widmer; grandson, Johnny Moore.
