Services for Judith E. Johnson, 72, who died Monday, November 15, 2010 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, Ia, will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, November 19 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. Burial will follow in the Newburn Cemetery, Lacona. She is survived by her husband, Lee Johnson; children, Linda Johnson, John Wright, Shellie Beach, David Mally, Aaron Johnson, Robin Dyar, Julie Lewis and Leslie Hill; siblings, Mary Ross and Richard Steil; 20 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Jackie Wright and daughter Kim Sanford. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, November 18 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or Johnston Mercy Hospice.
