JUANITA JUERGENS

Juanita "Neet" Juergens passed on April 22nd 2018 in Norwalk, Iowa at the age of 96. She was born on January 18, 1922 in Manson Iowa to Walter and Margaret (Lindmark) Reed. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 25 in the Peoria Cemetery, Maxwell, Iowa.

Juanita is survived by her grandchildren, James (Kimberly) Hand and Jennifer (Jeremy) Parker; great-grandchildren, Quinton (Stefanie) Hand, David Parker, Grant (Sarah) Hand, Olivia Hand, Joey Parker and Philip Hand; great-great grandchildren, Aliza, Oliver, and Henry Hand; and son in-law, James F. Hand.

In addition to her parents, Neet was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Richard Oscar Juergens, and her daughter Dixie Lee Hand.

Neet's world revolved around her family, especially her grandchildren and she cherished their time spent together.

Neet was the third of seven children Deloris, Mel, Neet, Marlin, Ord, Walter Jr. and Shirley all of whom preceded her in death.

She had many stories of growing up in Boone Iowa, most of which were about the hard times of the great depression. But she also had stories of the good times growing up with her brothers and sisters and the special bond she had with her mom.
