Juanita Jean Johnston Bower, 92, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017 in Indianola.  Her Celebration  of Life will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, February 18 at The Village in Indianola where family will be present to greet friends. Burial of cremains will be held at a later date in the Jackson Cemetery in Montezuma, IA.

Survivors include her children, Bonita J. Bower, Byard (Stephanie) Bower, Craig (Becky) Bower; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn M. Bower; sisters, Joanna Hagerty and Judy Cole; grandson, Nicolas Bower; and friend Russ Norum.
