Memorial services for Baruch "Jordan" Weeks, 19, who took his own life after a struggle for many years with mental illness on Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at home, will be held 1:30 p.m., Friday, April 21 at the Indianola Community Church in Indianola of which he was a member. Visitation with his body present will be held Thursday, April 20 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Overton Funeral Home.

Jordan was born in Des Moines and had lived in Indianola. He was involved in the youth group at his church, enjoyed helping with Figure 8 race cars and spending time with his niece and nephew.

He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Rosemary Weeks; brother, Jeremy and sister Andrea Weeks and her children Trenton Nickelson and Emmalee Weeks all of Indianola; grandparents, Gerald and Maxine Weeks of Indianola and Bonnie Hoversten of Williams, IA; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorials may be given to the family in his name.
