A Celebration of Life Gathering for John Edward Manders Jr., who passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at home, will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; children Regina (Don) Bendon, Mike Manders and Michele (Anna McNeeley) Manders; grandchildren, Joseph (Katherine) Bendon, Amanda (Dave Manning) Bendon, Matthew Manders and Daniel Underwood; great-grandchildren, Annabelle Bendon, Jocelyn Bendon, McKenna Manning and Ian Manning; nephew, Frank Manders Jr.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John Sr. and Erma Manders, brothers, Frank Manders Sr. and Charles Manders and sister, Darlene Dammeier.

Memorials may be given in his name to the Indianola Fire Department.
