Memorial services for John T. Howard Jr., 50, who died Monday, March 9, 2009 in Hermiston, Oregon, will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, May 2, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church in Indianola, Iowa followed by burial of cremains in the I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Indianola.

John was born in Klamath Falls, OR and had lived in Indiana, Louisiana, Texas and Iowa before spending the last 11 years in Hermiston. He was employed by Walmart for 24 years where he worked as a dispatcher.

He is survived by his father, John Howard of Indianola and sister Mari Anna Howard of Baltimore, MD. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barb Howard.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the John T. Howard Jr. Memorial Fund.
