John Thomas "Tom" Borrall, age 73, passed away Monday, October 5, 2009 at home. Tom was born Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 1935 at his grandparents home in rural Lucas Co. to John S. and Bernice Cackler Borrall. He went to Indianola public schools graduating in 1953. He was a United States Army Veteran.

He married Bonnie Ogle and they had three children, Tim, Sharon and Bobbi Jo. He later married Peggy Ann Barnes.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Peggy; brother, Charles; and his parents. He is survived by his children, John Timothy Borrall, Sharon (Jeff) Turner and Bobbi Jo Brown; step children, Rod Barnes, Rhonda (Mike) Berhow and Debbie Barnes; brother, Fred Borrall; sisters, Mary Carothers, Virginia Borrall; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Tom was cremated and private rites will be held at a later date. Memorials may be sent to the family in care of Overton Funeral Home, 501 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125.
