JOHN (JACK) ALAN KING Indianola John (Jack) Alan King was born in Chicago, IL on November 29, 1929, and died in Indianola, IA on March 29, 2013, from congestive heart failure. He is survived by his children: daughter, Marjorie (Michael) Leeper and their daughter, Stephanie (Mark) Pawletzki; son, John W. (Renee) King and their children: Troy (Tami) King (great-grandchildren, Jordan, Caden and Carson King), Christopher King and Katelan King; and daughter, Cindy (Scott) Lonsdale and their children, Megan (Mike) Luna (great- grandchildren, Dominic and Vivian Luna), Allison (Ty) Yohe and John Lonsdale. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Gladys King; brother, Thomas D. King; and his loving wife of 52 years, Marilyn King (1999). He worked at John Deere Des Moines Works for 30 years. In retirement, he worked for Mercy Hospital, Big A's Auto Parts, and NAPA Auto Parts. Our father and grandfather was known for his strong work ethic, quick wit and contagious laugh. A character and a charmer all rolled into one! Dad - Papa, from all of us, much love, and kisses to Mom-Grandma.
