Jimmie Schimelfenig was born September 1, 1942 to Harold and Mary (Onstot) Schimelfenig.  He was raised on the farm and continued farming and milking cows his entire life.  He served on the Warren County Fair Board, Heartland Co-op Board and the Dairy Association Board.  Jimmie's final harvest came on Wednesday, November 16, 2016.

Visitation will be held 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, November 21 at the Norwalk United Methodist Church with a Tribute to a Farmer at 6 p.m.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Mary Schimelfenig.  He is survived by many cousins and friends.
