Jered Dakota Stephanie passed away at the age of 26 on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. Jered was born November 7, 1994. He was full of mischief and loved life. He loved spending time with his family, playing ball, bowling, watching Lawrence Welk, and going for car rides with the music turned up loud.

Left behind to remember him are his parents, Raymond (Mike) and Wanda Stephanie of Knoxville; siblings, Brandon (Felicia) Stephanie and Nathan Stephanie of Knoxville, Jacob (Shantel) Ellsworth of Oskaloosa, and Rose (Kent) McDaniel of Toledo; host parents, Frank and Tammy Lowrey of Des Moines; nieces and nephews, Jasmine, Nick, Carmen, Kaydance, Kayleigh, and Brandon Jr.; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also remembered by many friends he met while at Child Serve and Mosaic.

Jered was met in Heaven by his grandparents Raymond and Rhoda Stephanie, George and Ruth Myers, as well as his sister-in-law Kendra Stephanie.

Overton Funeral Home in Indianola is in charge of arrangements and cremation. A memorial Service will be held at Riverside Church in Knoxville Friday, April 23, 2021 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Bruce Rietveld leading the service. In place of flowers, memorials may be left to the family or sent to Overton Funeral Home in Jered's name.
