JEANNE E. WOODRUFF Indianola Services for Jeanne E. Woodruff, 87, who passed away, Friday, April 5, 2013 at the Indianola Good Samaritan Center, will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 9, at Farmers Chapel United Methodist Church in Indianola with burial following in the Indianola I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Jeanne was born May 7, 1925 in Norwalk, Iowa to Lewis and Fern Johnson. She was a homemaker and longtime member and treasurer of Farmers Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include her children, Dr. Dennis (Kristi) Woodruff of Carlisle, Roger (Jody) Woodruff and Diane (Ward) Roscoe of Indianola and Michael (Teri) Woodruff of Ankeny; grandchildren, Ryan (Melanie) Woodruff, Kendra (Steve) Corbin, Paige (Taylor) Smothers, Blake Woodruff, Scott Woodruff, Jason Roberts and Sarah Roberts; great-grandchildren, Cody, Kelsey and Justin Woodruff and Cale, Kade and Ty Corbin; brother, Merrill Johnson; step-mother, Wanda Johnson; sister, Rita Conejo; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband R. Duane Woodruff, and sister Ruth Jolly. Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 8 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to Farmers Chapel United Methodist Church or HCI (Hospice) of Knoxville.
