JEAN MEINDERS New Virginia Jean Meinders passed away in the company of her family Sunday, November 3, 2013 at the age of 62. A Funeral Mass will be held at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church Thursday, November 7 at 10:30am. She will be laid to rest in St Benedict Cemetery in Benedicta, ME. Jean dedicated her life to service as a mother, Army Reservist, and a Registered Nurse. She was constantly caring for other people and bettering herself. She was the Manager at Unity Point Eye Laser Surgery Center. Jean is survived by her husband, Rob; sons, Jason and Erin, Erin's wife Samantha Meinders; grandchildren, Dylan and Noah Meinders; and sisters, Rose Rush, Celeste Pare, and Beth Young. She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Veronica Qualey and brother Charles Qualey. Visitation will be held 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, November 6 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church.
