Celebration of Life Services for Jane A. Putney, 55, who died Monday, December 6, 2010 at home will be held 7 p.m., Friday, December 10 at the First United Methodist Church of which she was a member. Jane was born in Des Moines and graduated from Chariton High School and Iowa State University. She was very active at her church and in 4-H where she judged at county and state fairs. She taught classes at Indianola High School and DMACC, was a member of the Indianola Fire and Rescue, T.T.T., D.A.R. and was a worthy advisor for Rainbow Girls. She is survived by her husband, Kevin; sons, Mark and Curt Putney all of Indianola; mother, Gloria Garton; and sister, Julie (Greig) Jones both of Williamsburg. Visitation with the family present will be held 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, December 10 at the First United Methodist Church and also following the celebration service in the fellowship hall.
