Jamie was born in Des Moines and was a 1st grade student at Whittier Elementary School in Indianola. She liked school, The Wiggles, swimming, being outdoors, roller coasters and riding horses at Wesley Woods. Jamie liked to make people smile and was a wonderful Angel.

She is survived by her parents, Cindy and Jason Berkley of Indianola, her siblings, Lucas and Madison; grandparents, Richard and Deborah Cowell of Indianola, Joseph and Rhonda Casazza of Osceola, James and Lodema Berkley of Iowa City; great-grandmother Dortha Freeman of Rockaway Beach, MO and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held 3:00 - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 27 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola where the family will be present to greet friends for 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be given to the family in her name.
