IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James Anthony
Taylor
July 8, 1964 – January 23, 2019
A Celebration of Life for James Taylor, 54, who passed away Wednesday, January 23, will be held 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, February 3, 2019 at the Sandyville City Hall, just off of Highway 92.
James was always very hands on and made a career for himself in renovation and construction. In his spare time, he loved spending time in his garage working on his beloved 2001 Pontiac Trans Am as well as his motorcycle and other hobbies he held. Most recently he enjoyed using his crafty side to craft horses from wood. He was known for his mischievous spirit and his love of pranks and laughter.
James was a Sergeant in the Marine Corps before meeting his wife and becoming a devoted and dedicated family man and he was so proud of each of his children and grandchildren. He had a huge heart and not only did it belong to his family but others as well. He worked side by side with his wife Cheryl as they ran an in-home daycare, where James loved every child as his own. A piece of his heart went into everything he did.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; children, James (Holly) Taylor II, Joseph Idle, Sarah (Andrew) Mills, Tyler Idle, Nicholas (Brandi) Idle, Michael Taylor, Andrew Taylor, Jessica Idle, Matthew Taylor and Justin Taylor; 14 grandchildren; siblings, Deborah Ferreira, Charles Taylor Jr., Mary Theresa Tillson, Laura Taylor, Joseph Taylor and Julie Phipps; mother-in-law, Cathy Ball; brothers-in-law, Randal Ball and Michael Ball. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ron and Jeanne Calder; father, Charles Taylor; son, Todd Anderson.
Memorials may be given to the family in his name for a contribution to be decided at a later date.
