JAMES PAULEY Norwalk Services for James Pauley, 80, who passed away Monday, July 22, 2013 at Kavanagh House Hospice in Des Moines, will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 26 at the Norwalk United Methodist Church in Norwalk with burial following in the Norwalk Cemetery. James was born in Wayne County, IA and graduated from Seymour High School. He served in the United States Navy from 1951 to 1955, after which he farmed in Southern, Iowa before moving to Norwalk in the early 1970's. James worked for Wilbert Vault Company delivering vaults and setting up at the cemetery; also working in the plant. He also worked part-time for several Des Moines cemeteries. Survivors include his wife, Marlys; children, Jeffery (Lisa) Pauley, Craig (Diana) Pauley and Melody (Mark) Morris; brother, Dwayne (Betty) Pauley; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held 5:30 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 25 at the Norwalk United Methodist Church where family will be present to greet friends.
