Jacquelyn Ann "Jackie" Szabo, age 74, of Indianola, Iowa, passed away on November 4, 2025. Jackie was a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother whose gentle heart and constant generosity shaped the lives of everyone who loved her.

Jackie was known for always being there—steadfast, dependable, and ready to help in any way she could. She never liked to see her grandchildren or great-grandchildren go without. Giving came naturally to her; she offered what she could with an open heart and asked for almost nothing in return. Her love was steady, her presence comforting, and her kindness unforgettable.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Marcus Vodochodsky, Cassandra Vodochodsky; and her grandchildren-in-law, Shyquavius Dodds and Miranda Trogdon.

She is also lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren, Jaxson Vodochodsky, Carson Vodochodsky, Xavier Dodds, Zavi Dodds, Samuel Bare, Evelyn Bare, and Addylyne Kline, Brooklyn Dodds, Jacquelyn Vodochodsky, and Abigail Dodds.

Jackie's memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she supported, cared for, and loved so deeply. Her family cherishes the countless moments of laughter, comfort, and warmth she gave so freely.
