JACOB HIGGINS

On June 30, 2019 Jacob Elam Higgins, 84 years of age of Milo, IA was reunited with his loving wife, as he was surrounded by family.

Jacob was born in Summerset, IA on June 13, 1935 to Jacob and Lucile Higgins.  He was the middle child of 5, to-wit, Ethel, Opal, Twila, and Verle.  He met his loving wife, Elizabeth (Wallace) Higgins as teenagers in Milo, IA.  Together they had 6 children, Jacob Howard known as Butch, Susan Conzata (Paul) of Bellevue, NE, Sheri Joellen (Cheryl) of West Des Moines, IA, William Thomas (Linda) of Eagle Point, OR, Joy Elizabeth of Des Moines, IA and Marion Duane.

Jacob was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sons, a son-in-law, two granddaughters, a sister, and one brother.  He is survived by 4 children, 17 grandchildren, 33 of his great-grandchildren and numerous friends, too many to mention.

Services will be announced at a later date by his family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Jacob E. Higgins Memorial Fund at the Regions Bank in Indianola, IA.
