Services for Ilene "Bubbles" Phipps, 80, who died Sunday, December 25, 2011, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 29 at the Norwalk Christian Church with burial following in the Norwalk Cemetery. She is survived by her children, Sue (Bill) Tell, Joel (Rhonda) Phipps, Mark (Debra) Phipps and Jennifer Orr; grandchildren, Dan and Adam Tell and Mitchell and Jessica Phipps; siblings, Keith Norlin and Elinor Higgins; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; and siblings, Carmen, Gilbert, Alan, Lary, Leatha and Hyla. Visitation with family present will be held 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 28 at the Norwalk Christian Church. Memorials contributions may be given to the Norwalk Christian Church in her name.
