Ilene was born and had lived all of her life in rural Warren County. She was the daughter of Lee and Blanche Gibson. She was a farm homemaker, hard worker and a spotless house keeper. She enjoyed her garden and her cats.

She is survived by seven nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Fern Gibson, Donna Allen, Olive Ball and Faye Dittmer; and brother, Leland Gibson.

Visitation will be held 9 – 11 a.m., Friday, June 1 at Overton Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Association.
