HOWARD TIPTON Indianola Services for Howard Tipton, 91, who passed away, Friday, October 18, 2013 at The Village Health Center in Indianola, will be held 2 p.m., Monday, October 21 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Liberty Center Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Sue; children, Connie (Jay) Renger, Cathy Konrad, Carol (Dan) Nash; step-children, Terri (Kent) DeBerg and Steve (Mary) Stone; twelve grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie Tipton; son, Kenneth Tipton; great-granddaughter, Carly Shelton and sister, Esther Hutchcroft. Visitation will be held 5:30 to 8 p.m., Sunday, October 20 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Good Shepherd Fund at The Village, Liberty Center United Methodist Church or Wesley Hospice.
