HOMER MOFFITT
Services for Homer Eugene Moffitt, 89, who passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 in Des Moines, will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 31 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Ackworth Cemetery.
He is survived by his brothers, William E. Moffitt Jr. and Leland Moffitt; nieces and nephews, Daryl Moffitt, Patsy Moffitt, Carol Ashby, David Moffitt, Dennis Moffitt, Diana Moffitt-Robins, Daniel Moffitt and Benjamin Moffitt, several other great and great-great nieces and nephews as-well-as many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. Moffitt Sr. and Emma (Ramsey) Moffitt, brother, Carroll Moffitt, and nephews Raymond Moffitt and LaVerne Moffitt.
Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Friday March 30 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Olney Friends School in Barnesville, Ohio.
