HELEN MARIE (EDGINGTON) REESE Indianola Services for Helen Marie (Edgington) Reese, 97, who passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Westview Care Center in Indianola, IA, will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, November 23 at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. The family will greet friends from noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Helen Reese was born July 26, 1916 near Lacona, IA the ninth of fourteen children born to Charles and Abby Elizabeth (Miller) Edgington. Helen married Forrest Reese June 5, 1937. She was a homemaker until her children were grown then she was a Certified Nursing Aid at Good Samaritan nursing home. She was preceeded in death by her, husband Forrest; two grandsons, Kevin Reese and Rick Reese; son-in-law, Merle Kimzey; seven brothers; and five sisters. She is survived by her children, Bill (Dee Benge) and Forrest Eldon (Maymie Stout) of Des Moines and Tom (Janis) and Virginia Ripperger of Indianola; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great great-grandson; and sister, Betty Eckert of Ankeny.
