Born in Derby, Iowa she had lived in Lucas, New Virginia and Des Moines before moving to Indianola in 1968. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Alex Johnson and Leo Frazier.

Survivors include her husband, Richard McKinney; children, Mary Crawford of Waukee and Byron Johnson of Phoenix, AZ; step-son, John (Janice) McKinney of Des Moines; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday July 1 at Overton Funeral Home where family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to Chapel of Faith Church.
